Corian® by Dupont™ is a considerably versatile and resistant material which makes the bringing to life of any imaginable idea possible. Whether for contract and residential projects, its high performance and spectacular aesthetics ensure exceptional results.

Its ease of molding, through various handling systems (thermoforming, machining or injection), enables the creation of single-piece products without visible union joints, reducing handling times and labour intensity. Likewise, it is possible to join different pieces of Corian® using special adhesives which eliminate joints and guarantee the appearance of continuous dimensions.

Corian® by Dupont solid surfaces offer architects, interior designers and decorators a wide range of options and artistic possibilities because they can be worked with normal carpentry tools and also support bas-relief. Organic and moving shapes can also be modeled, to add to the offerings of spectacular colour and translucent effects.

As a solid surface it’s a hard and abrasion resistant material; unaffected by ultraviolet radiation; it’s inert and, in case of fire, the combustion gases are non-toxic. In addition, it’s totally waterproof and antibacterial.

Corian® is a homogeneous and non-porous material which allows minor damage to be easily removed or repaired by rubbing with non-abrasive cleaners or sanding and, in the case of serious damage, it can be repaired locally.
